Please read below to discover the positions available!

At Grittleton Adventures we offer schools an outdoor residential trip. Our amazing team will guide the schools through their trip, starting with a warm and well organised welcome. Then throughout their stay, schools are guided through an organised programme of activities and meal times until it is time for a huge send off on the final day.

 

You will be provided with all the training you need for the role, all you need to bring is bags of energy and enthusiasm. Throughout the training and the season, you will not only learn new skills and pick up some qualifications but you will also gain self confidence, improve your communication and team work skills and much much more.

Adventure Supervisor

Assisting the Adventure Manager in the day to day operation of the site. Having regular contact with the teachers, children and staff team to ensure everything runs smoothly. Plus delivering some activities too!

Adventure Team

​​Delivering all aspects of the our schools programmes to our groups. Your day will be full of variety, delivering a whole range of activities such as Crate Challenge, Buggy Building or our very own Escape the Room. No two days will be the same!

Adventure Manager

Our Adventure Manager will ensure that all aspects of our adventure programme is delivered to the highest possible standards to all of our groups.

Days filled by catching up with teachers, developing your staff team, ensuring all heath & safety checks are done plus some admin tasks too.

Catering Assistant

Our Catering Team work hard to feed both our customers and staff team. Our Catering Assistant roles include the serving of meals, cleaning and food preparation. Our team will also need to be able to communicate well with our customers during service.

Catering Manager

Our Catering Manager is responsible for ensuring that all aspect of our meals and service of meals are to the highest standard.

Managing the catering team to ensure that everyone is working well plus taking a front of house position during service dealing directly with our school groups.

Cook

Our cook is responsible for preparing lunch and evening meal for around 250 people. Meals are served over two sittings and each child requires the same quality meals.

Our cook will also need to be able to cater for dietary requirements.

Housekeeper

Our Housekeepers ensure that all our accommodation is prepared for arrivals making a great first impression. 

It is also important to keep communal areas tidied and cleaned throughout the week.

Caretaker

Our Caretakers ensure that our facilities are well maintained and suitable for use. Creating an amazing impression on our customers.

Facilities Manager

Our Facilities Manager will manage both the Housekeepers and the Caretaker. Their role is to ensure that all accommodation and communal areas both inside and outside are well presented at all times for our school groups.
